From the reaches I have conducted I found out that there are common foods around us that have immune boosting properties and they are listed below;
1. Garlic: This is not only a good spice but also is a great immune booster because it contains Allicin(a sulfur rich compound) which helps in the b synthesis of new white blood cells.
2. Spinach: When lightly cooked, spinach contains antioxidants and Beta Carotene which increases the infection fighting ability of our Immune systems.
3. Paw paw: Yes! This fruit is a wonderful fruit that as we all know contains Vital minerals, it also contain an immune boosting compound Papain. Papain performs anti inflammatory functions in the body.
4. Oranges and other Citrus fruits: Oranges have Vitamin C in large quantities and this Vitamin increases the body's production of white blood cells.
5. Fishes: Specifically shell fishes like crabs and lobsters are highly rich in Zinc which will be used for the production of more white blood cells.
